At Love Roots Youth Empowerment, we are dedicated to fostering the growth and development of young minds through comprehensive empowerment programs. We pride ourselves on building solid foundations for our youth to thrive in Louisiana and beyond.

Our Goal
In the beginning, a child may enter the program with anxiety, struggles in articulating emotions, and facing challenges in their home environment. Throughout the program, they will receive support tailored to their needs, including coping strategies and a nurturing environment with relatable mentors. The goal is for these children to develop resilience, improved self-expression, and a sense of safety. By the end, the goal is that at least 90% of them will show positive growth, potentially succeeding in school where they faced obstacles before, and emerging as stronger individuals ready to navigate life more confidently.

Community Engagement connects youth with impactful projects, fostering a sense of belonging and responsibility.
Our Services
Specialized Social Skills
Social skills are the skills we use everyday to interact and communicate with others. They include verbal and non-verbal communication, such as speech, gesture, facial expression and body language.
Coping Strategies
Using the Five R's are: Rethink, Relax, Release, Reduce, and Reorganize. Each R represents a different level of coping skills that can be used independently to cope with stressors, or combined into a comprehensive stress management plan.
Resilience
Involves viewing stressors from a different perspective. Try to find potential growth opportunities within our youth and th challenges they might face. Goal-setting: Set manageable goals and work towards them to maintain focus and motivation in tough times.
